Unlocking Home Plots
Home plots are unlocked as you increase your D.G. (Developer's Guild) level:
- First Plot: Available from the start (tutorial)
- Second Plot: D.G. Level 8
- Third Plot: D.G. Level 15
- Fourth Plot: D.G. Level 22
Furniture Customization System
Create unique furniture designs using Heartopia's creative tools:
🎨 Drawing Board Method
- Craft or purchase a Drawing Board from Bob or the furniture shop
- Select a furniture template (joinery-based furniture only)
- Use clip art stamps, stickers, and paint to customize the design
- Save your design pattern
- Use a Workbench to apply the design to actual furniture
🎨 Color Dyeing System
Many furniture pieces support color customization through dyeing:
- Purchase dyes from the furniture shop or craft them
- Select furniture piece and choose "Dye" option
- Apply desired color
- Important: Changing color does NOT affect furniture set bonuses!

How to Co-Build
- Enter your home plot in Edit Mode
- Open the Friends Menu
- Select "Invite to Co-Build Session"
- Friends can now place, move, and design furniture in your plot
- Save the design when finished
- Get design inspiration from friends
- Faster furniture placement (multiple people working)
- Unlock co-op building achievement rewards
- Share furniture costs (if enabled)
Blueprint System
Save and load multiple house designs with the blueprint feature:
- Save Blueprints: Store complete house layouts with all furniture
- Load Instantly: Switch between designs with one click
- Share with Friends: Export blueprints for others to use
- Seasonal Themes: Create holiday-specific designs and rotate them
Clothes Design Feature
Beyond house design, Heartopia offers extensive clothing customization:
- Access the Wardrobe in your home
- Use the Drawing Board to design custom patterns
- Apply patterns to shirts, pants, dresses, and accessories
